Service and Support
The late Kerry Fitzpatrick ’57 was among Peddie’s most loyal donors. 2016 marked 25 consecutive years of Kerry giving to the Peddie Fund. Kerry supported athletics and several faculty professional development funds. He returned for alumni events and served as Peddie’s acting alumni director in the 1980s. And he was a member of the Bell Society since its inception in 1990.
In 2015, Peddie learned that Kerry created a trust, 80% of which would come to Peddie upon his passing to establish the Kerry B. Fitzpatrick ’57 Endowed Scholarship Fund. It will benefit a student or students enrolled at Peddie who excel(s) in academics and athletics, and may be awarded without regard to demonstrated need.
Clearly, Kerry deeply loved Peddie and appreciated the education and friendships he found here. We’re humbled by his gift and look forward to seeing his love continue to manifest in generations to come.
