“Both my husband and I came from poverty,” said Amy Xu of herself and Scott Yang P’23. “I came to America with only $4 in my pocket, and my husband was a herder when he was young.” The couple has emerged from hardship and they are eager to lend their strong support to Peddie.

Through generous and loyal gifts to the endowment for academic programs, the general endowment and through multi-year, unrestricted giving to The Peddie Fund, Amy and Scott are providing Peddie with resources to support students and employees — now and into the future.

“We were very fortunate to complete our higher education and thus forge ahead with our American dream,” said Amy. “We hope with our help, someone else can also achieve their American dream.”
