creative vision for enduring impact

Each day more than 300 Peddie students participate in visual arts, music and theater — a dramatic increase over the past four decades. Our Swig Arts Center, built in 1989, was bursting at the seams.

We are deeply grateful to our donors for their support of our newly expanded Peddie Arts Center. With the addition of The Gratitude Garden, Ding Music Hall, Coiro Family Foundation Balcony, Donna L. Sands ’82 Exhibition Hall, Jeffrey “Harry” Holcombe Black Box Theatre, Morrison-Ezratti Lower Lobby, a newly renovated visual art studio classroom, a new music classroom, ample storage for all our instruments, and two new soundproof music practice studios that always seem to be in use, we have alleviated the burden of space constraints – and with the flexibility of such incredible spaces – we’ve created new ways for students and faculty to pursue their passions, share their gifts, and help the arts at Peddie soar to new heights.

“The recently renovated and expanded art building is spectacular! There’s so much space not only to show your works but also to create. That’s definitely been one of the highlights of my senior year, and without the One Peddie campaign, it wouldn’t be here.”
